Overview

Sensei Bert Owen established Sutemi for the first time in the early 1970's, but declining student numbers forced the club to close. It was reborn in 1989 and membership grew steadily. After Sensei Bert passed away, the club passed into Sensei Marcia van Niekerk's capable hands in 1999. She has been guiding the club ever since.
